Product Developer - Mechanical Engineer

Are you passionate about product development and motivated by creating solutions that improve people's everyday lives? We are looking for a curious, hands-on and driven engineer to join our R&D team in Arnoldstein. Whether you are a recent graduate with a strong technical foundation or an engineer with a few years of experience, this is an exciting opportunity to work across the entire product development lifecycle – from concept and design to testing, validation and production support.
Your role and key responsibilities
As an R&D Engineer, you will play an important role in developing and improving our product portfolio. Working closely with colleagues across functions, suppliers and manufacturing partners, you will contribute to innovative solutions that make a real difference to users worldwide.
Contribute to the development and improvement of innovative mobility products
Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings in SolidWorks
Support product design from concept through production release
Plan, execute and document product testing and validation activities
Work closely with suppliers on technical solutions and component integration
Prepare assembly instructions and production-related documentation
Maintain engineering data and bills of materials in the company’s ERP system (Infor M3).
Support Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Commercial teams to resolve technical challenges
Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements
Your profile
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical discipline
Experience with 3D CAD and technical drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
Understanding of GD&T, materials and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of product testing and validation methodologies
Structured approach to technical documentation
Basic understanding of electronics and supplier collaboration
Meritorious Experience:
Experience in mechanical design, product development or engineering
Experience working with ERP systems
Knowledge of FEA, simulation tools and/or Moldflow analysis
Italian language skills
As a person you are curious, eager to learn and you enjoy turning ideas into practical solutions. You thrive in a hands-on environment and are comfortable working on both detailed technical tasks and broader development projects. You are a strong team player with good communication skills as well as passionate about developing robust, manufacturable products, while being structured and detail focused
Your future team and workplace
You will join a young and collaborative team of six talented engineers who share knowledge, support one another and enjoy solving technical challenges together. The team offers a combination of creativity, technical expertise and a genuine passion for innovation. You will report to the R&D Manager and be based at our office in Arnoldstein, Austria.
