With growing investment in cloud platforms, data governance, and reporting capabilities, we are now looking for a Senior Data Engineer - BI Focus to strengthen our analytics team and help shape the way Etac uses data across functions and product brands.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer - BI Focus, you will take responsibility for delivering both backend data pipelines and scalable reporting solutions. You will work across the full data stack - from ingestion and transformation to model design and dashboard delivery - enabling Finance, Sales, Product, and other teams to make informed decisions.

You will collaborate closely with the Data Governance team, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are reliable, aligned, and actionable.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Building end-to-end data flows from ERP, CRM, and other source systems into analytics-ready models
• Designing and transforming data for scalable BI use cases
• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports used across business functions
• Collaborating with Data Governance, Finance, and IT teams to align on KPIs, metrics, and data quality
• Implementing ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt, Azure Data Factory, or Apache Airflow
• Defining clean, reusable data models to support both curated and self-service analytics
• Applying best practices in data access control, GDPR compliance, and secure reporting

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with strong technical experience, a structured approach, and the ability to deliver end-to-end data solutions in a cross-functional environment.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or BI development (ideally both)
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data workflows and automation
• Proven experience with Power BI: DAX, Power Query, modeling, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Azure Data Factory, or Apache Airflow
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure Synapse, Data Lake, or Databricks
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks, including GDPR compliance, role-based access control (RBAC), data lineage, and data quality assurance
• Experience working with ERP and financial data (Infor M3 is a plus)
• A clear, structured approach and the ability to work across both technical and business teams
